Helping Seniors That Are Alone, So They Can Make A True Connection In There Home.
In 2002 I lost a family member in a nursing home. The cause of death was hypothermia which was caused by the nursing home. Many months were spent with attorneys and going through the court system to find a reasonable outcome. I found myself becoming an advocate and promised to always fight for the rights of Seniors. This was such a massive case that the Washington Post conducted an interview regarding the matter. In 2016 and 2017 the pain resurfaced due to losing another family member of a different nursing home from inadequate care and once again, I teamed up to fight for justice. In 2017 I was voted as President of a community which consisted of a large percentage of Seniors. There were many at home alone or home all day with only a loved one during the evening and night hours. Something else needed to be done! As a result, "You Don't Have To Feel Alone Senior Daily Check-In Service" was born! Also doing business as True Connection Calls.
